Terms of use
Last updated: 7 May 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of mirrormi.ai (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What the Service is
mirrormi.ai is a journalling product that can generate AI-assisted reflections from text you provide. It is provided for general wellbeing and communication support only.
The Service is not therapy, counselling, or medical care. It does not create a clinician-patient or therapist-client relationship. For mental health assessment, treatment, or crisis support, you should contact a qualified professional or appropriate emergency services. Once signed in, the Help area in the app lists UK crisis signposting.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to enter a binding agreement under applicable law. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, pose a security risk, or where we are required to do so by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm others;
- attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours;
- probe, disrupt, or overload our systems, or circumvent security;
- upload malware or misuse the Service to distribute spam or abusive content;
- reverse engineer or scrape the Service except where the law permits; or
- use the output of the Service to mislead anyone as to its nature (for example, presenting AI text as a human clinical opinion).
Your content
You retain rights to content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, process, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to provide and improve the Service (including sending excerpts to our AI provider for inference). You confirm you have the rights needed to grant this licence.
AI limitations
AI-generated text may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. You remain responsible for how you interpret or act on it. We may change AI vendors, models, or configuration without notice as the product evolves.
Privacy
Our Privacy notice explains how we process personal data.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business. Our total aggregate liability arising from the Service in any twelve month period is limited to the greater of (a) £100 and (b) the fees you paid us in that period for the Service (if any).
Changes and contact
We may modify these terms or the Service. We will post updated terms here. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where the law allows. Contact: hello@mirrormi.ai.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
